About Boston Fencing Club

Welcome to the Boston Fencing Club, where history meets excellence in the art of fencing!

As the oldest fencing club in the United States, established in 1858, we proudly uphold a legacy of skill, sportsmanship, and community. Nestled in the heart of Boston, our non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is dedicated to nurturing fencers of all ages and abilities, from curious beginners to ambitious Olympic hopefuls.

At the Boston Fencing Club, we offer a variety of programs tailored to fit every interest and skill level.

Our Youth Classes provide a fun and structured environment for children to learn the basics of fencing, fostering discipline, confidence, and teamwork.

For teenagers and adults, our Adult/Teen Classes offer a dynamic curriculum that caters to both newcomers and seasoned athletes looking to refine their technique.

Our commitment to excellence extends to our Competitive and Parafencing programs, where fencers can engage in high-level training and competitions. We take pride in our inclusive approach, ensuring that every athlete, regardless of ability, can experience the thrill and challenge of fencing.

For those looking for personalized attention, our Open Bouting & Private Lessons offer tailored coaching to help fencers achieve their personal best.

In addition to these enriching programs, the Boston Fencing Club hosts a variety of unique events. From exhilarating BFC Tournaments to engaging Special Events like Birthday Parties and Corporate Team Building Activities, we provide exciting opportunities for everyone to engage with the sport.
