About Turf

Turf is a digital marketplace owned and operated by Turfgo LLC. It is a business-to-business and business-to-consumer company that provides a marketplace of recreational activities that makes it easy to search and register for programs. We process the transactions for those programs as a service provider on behalf of recreational program administrators.


When and Why Turf collects information

We obtain information about you when you use our website or engage with email messages sent to you after opting in, through technology including cookies, forms, registration pages, link tracking, blog comments, reviews, and job postings.


Your information enables us to employ Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as well as other techniques to recommend programs that are right for you and your family, send relevant messages to you, and generally help you find and register for programs with ease. We use the information to help you find what you’re searching for more quickly, to display information more effectively, to personalize your experience, to understand how our websites are used, to market our products and services, to measure the success of our business, and for security purposes. The more we get to know you, the more personalized and relevant your experiences with us with be.


We collect only the data we need

The personal information we collect includes your name, address, email address, date of birth, telephone number, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when, information you may volunteer in building your registration profile, as well as a history of transactions you’ve begun and have not completed as well as those you have completed.


    Turf collects data:
  • Provided by users of Turf, such as during account creation
  • Created during use of our services, such as search, filters, page browsing, and registration flows
  • From other sources, such as other users or account owners, business partners, vendors, insurance, and financial solution providers.
  • Your browser or device: Certain information is collected by most browsers or automatically through your device, such as your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, Internet browser type and version, and browser click-through and usage data.

Your IP address may also indicate your approximate physical location. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice and is done automatically by many websites, applications and other technologies.   • We may analyze your personal information to create a profile of your interests and preferences so that we can contact you with information relevant to you. We may make use of additional information about you when it is available from external sources to help us do this effectively.

Protecting the privacy of children

Individuals under the age of 18 are permitted to browse our site, but are not able to create an account. Parents, guardians, individuals, or caregivers are required to create a family account for all family members who are under the age of 18.

  • Marketing partners and marketing platform providers, including social media advertising services, advertising networks, third-party data providers, and other service providers to reach or better understand our users and measure advertising effectiveness
  • Research partners, including those performing surveys or research projects in partnership with Turf or on Turf’s behalf
  • vendors that assist Turf to enhance the safety and security of Turf apps and services
  • Consultants, lawyers, accountants, and other professional service providers
  • Insurance and financing partners

California residents

California Shine the Light Law. Under California Civil Code sections 1798.83–1798.84 California residents may request the names and addresses of affiliated companies and categories of Personal Information we share for their direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please contact as at support@turfgo.io


We do not sell Personal Information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Authorized Agents may submit requests on behalf of a California resident using the above processes and providing the appropriate documentation.


Nevada residents

Under Nevada SB 220, Nevada residents may submit an opt-out request regarding the sale of their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) collected through a website or online service. Turf does not Sell Personally Identifiable Information (PII) as defined by Nevada SB 220.
