About the program
The Watertown Preseason Basketball Clinic offers boys and girls in grades 2–9 the chance to sharpen their skills and build confidence before the winter season.
Led by Watertown High School’s Head Coaches Steve Harrington and Mike Tempesta, along with experienced local coaches, the clinic emphasizes fundamentals while keeping the game fun and engaging for all levels—from beginners to advanced players. Each session includes focused instruction on dribbling, passing, defense, rebounding, shooting, and ball-handling, followed by competitive drills and games that reinforce learning in a dynamic environment.
Players are grouped by grade level to ensure age-appropriate instruction:
Grades 2–5 meet from 6:30–7:45pm,
and Grades 6–9 from 7:45–9:00pm.
The clinic runs Thursdays—October 16, 23, 30, and November 6—at Watertown Middle School. Tuition is $129 per player. Don’t miss this opportunity to prepare for the season, learn from top coaches, and enjoy the game of basketball in a supportive setting.
